In a surprising collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
