Performance and Potential Those coming to the Abbey will be entertained by talented youth performers supported by the charitable trust Future Talent, co-founded by the Duchess of Kent to broaden opportunities for musical tuition. An 18-year-old named Carys Wood, who performs on the trumpet and is from Pembrokeshire, has been supported by the trust, with awards contributing to instruments, tuition, and transportation expenses - and she said it was "amazing" to be taking part in the evening's event. "Musical pursuits are frequently pricey," Carys said. She is now a student at the prestigious music academy, and added that "everyone should have the opportunity" to develop their musical skills. Generations Gathering Carys's 11-year-old sister, Eliza, who performs on the brass instrument, will likewise attend the Abbey. "It's unbelievable that I get to perform here in front of so many distinguished guests," she said. Attending the service will be individuals spanning multiple eras.
